Today at Ukrainian Football Federation Executive Committee meeting was voted the national team coach. Former Ukrainian national team's assistant coach Leonid Buryak got a convincing win in the voting. 18 voted for Buryak, 1 abstained from decision and only one voted for Croatian Miroslav Blazevic (it was Professional Football League president Ravil Safiulin). By the way, only 20 men of 27 Executive Committee members were presented at the meeting.
Ukrainian Football Federation is to sign contract with Leonid Buryak until Euro-2004 with a possibility to extend it for another two years in case of the team's successful run.
Anatoliy Kroshchenko was unanimously appointed the head coach of Ukrainian Under 21 national team. Anatoliy Buznyk became the Head of Ukrainian national teams Committee.
Tomorrow extraordinary UFF Congress is to approve Executive Committee's decision though it's just a formality.
