This motto was the main thing at session of Presidium of the Football federation of Ukraine on 30 July 2001 under the direction of FFU President Grigoriy M. Surkis on which urgent questions of activity of federation were discussed.
Among Mr. Surkis's primary goals has noted realization of the program " Our purpose - 2002 " and an exit of a national team of Ukraine in a final part of the World Championship in Japan and Korea.
The important stage - participation of a national teams in qualifying rounds of the UEFA Women Championship and European Under-18, 20, 21 Championship. Serious date in Children's-youthful League begins September, 9. This day will start the Championship under Children's-youthful football League in which 427 commands will participate. The joint project of Football federation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and a science of Ukraine will begin from the beginning of new academic year in all comprehensive schools on introduction of an additional lesson on football. Therefore now the attention is given maintenance of the given question. Extremely for means FFU there is a retraining of teachers, release of the methodical literature, purchase of necessary stock. By the end of year the quantity of the footballs sent in school will make hundred thousand pieces. And FFU develops a question of manufacture of children's balls at the domestic enterprises.
The big attention is given increase of organizational work in regional federations. So, for a low level of work of the Football federation of Nikolaev region was subject to criticism.
"I think , the President has declared, - that today we are hostages of own decisions accepted on level of the PFL for last years and their inadmissible default at a level regional on the part of clubs and federations which are in the answer. It the program has emphasized "Football as football ". I am grateful to the program that it has lifted those problems, which are inherent in many regional federations.
We may not reach a question of the property right of today's professional clubs in any way. There are clubs, support on budgetary funds, there are joint-stock companies and clubs extremely on private means.
In it we also have a problem. Therefore it is necessary for us together with Executive committee, PFL to prepare realization of the program for joining clubs irrespective of patterns of ownership within the framework of realization in common works at levels of regional federations. For today we have no football clubs within the framework of regional federations as collective members. In what a problem!
Therefore, now, FFU it is necessary to use the rights and then proffesional clubs, members of PFL, will be obliged to become collective members of regional federations and to pay payments for such cooperation. Then it also will be the responsibility and teamwork above improvement of activity on places.
We have no such interaction and at a level of local authorities. On an example of the Nikolaev region above-stated television program has concentrated those characteristic problems in interactions of regional authorities, clubs and Football federation of Ukraine. It some kind of a reserve due to which we may make for our football much more. And make it we may only collective efforts. You see football not only game, but also serious business and business collective, command."
Presidium of FFU also has considered the project of the Rules of realization a dope of the control in Ukrainian competitions on football among professional teams. With the information on this question FFU first vice-president Storozhenko S. M. has acted. The final statement of the Rules will take place at the nearest session of Executive Committee of Football federation of Ukraine.
At session it was spoken and about structural changes in the federation for improvement of work.
Important the theme of referee and inspection cases at internal competitions was especially actual and new criteria of an estimation of refereeing ukrainian competitions on football 2001-2002 are now developed
As FFU President, only in common has noticed, fairly and responsibly we can put things in order in a football facilities.
The coach of a national team of Ukraine L.Burjak has informed about preparation of combined team for forthcoming qualifying matches of the World Championship with teams of Belorussia, Armenia and Poland and also that on a friendly meeting with a national team of Latvia (August, 15) the strongest players - legionaries will be caused. As game with Latvia consider, as the major stage of preparation for responsible matches.
